Dubai Metro
Dubai Metro is a public transport network in Dubai. It has two lines:
Dubai Red Line Metro Stations: Opened in 2009. 52.1 km long. The Red Line has 29 stations and runs from Centerpoint Metro Station (formerly Rashidiya) to UAE Exchange Metro Station (formerly Jebel Ali).
Dubai Green Line Metro Stations: Opened in 2011. 22.5 km long. The Green Line has 20 stations and runs from Etisalat Metro Station in Al Qusais to Creek Metro Station in Al Jaddaf.
Route 2020: Opened in 2021. 15 km long. Route 2020 is an extension of the Red Line and has 6 stations, running from Jebel Ali Metro Station to the Expo 2020 Metro Station.
Dubai Metro also connects with other public transport systems:
Dubai Tram: Opened in 2014. 14.5 km long. It has 11 stations along Al Sufouh Road, connecting Dubai Marina to the Palm Jumeirah and Al Sufouh. Check Dubai Tram Map.
Monorail Line: Opened in 2009. 5.45 km long. Operates between Palm Jumeirah tram station and Atlantis Aquaventure tram station.

Metro Timings
Dubai Metro Timings in 2023:
- Monday to Thursday: 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM
- Friday: 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM
- Saturday: 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM
Remember that the first and last train times vary for each station, and metro operating hours can also change during public holidays.
Train frequency:
- Every four minutes during peak hours.
- Every seven minutes at off-peak times.

Hop off at your desired stop
Catch a bus to reach your final destination
After check-out from the metro, you have 30 minutes to check-in on the bus
By completing the transfer on time, your metro and bus trips will be charged as a single journey, based on the total number of zones passed during both trips combined.
Dubai Metro Parking
Here are the dedicated RTA car parks for the Dubai Metro โ they are available for use while youโre also using the metro in the following stations:
Etisalat Metro Station (G11)
Centerpoint Metro Station (R11)
Jebel Ali Metro Station (R38)
Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station (R73)
In addition to these options, car parks are attached to malls that could be utilized. Please note that each mall has its own rules, and parking duration may be limited. Some malls that are easily accessible by metro and offer parking facilities are Mall of the Emirates, City Centre, and Dubai Mall.
If you prefer, you can explore other paid car parks near metro stations. However, itโs important to know that only the three stations mentioned above offer free parking. To encourage riders, the RTA provides numerous buses linked to the metro system.
